Copper Revolution
Copper Revolution is my 3D foundations final project. The deliverables were a wearable sculpture using one material. I chose copper because it isn’t an easy material to work with; not for beginners. I enjoy accessories and details in outfitting, so using a metal could be beneficial to learn about. My project started by looking for inspiration and I gravitated more towards the industrial revolution, the beginning of machines and how they were used in the work force. Copper being a big part. I began to look through Home Depot, which is were I spent a lot of time in those few months, and got help from my dad on how to work with such materials. In the end, I really enjoyed the journey and very proud of the end result. I include it here because it is a great representation of open-mindedness as well as versatility.
